To help organize better the businesses at Fairfield Plaza, I've split region N12 into N12 and N22, and I've added a new photo for N22. Now the businesses should line up better, and you won't have to guess "what's around the corner."

The Taco Bell drive-thru is now closed as they complete the final stages of the remodel. I believe it is reopening later this month. Finally, the building is starting to take shape and look like something cool.

Here's a picture from the opening ceremonies of the Community Kids College 2008, held at Legg Middle School. The turnout was great - about 100 kids are participating, learning skills like cooking, animal care, crafts, and soccer. I'm teaching a class on fun memory improvement skills. The college continues daily 9:00-11:45am. It's not too late to bring your child this week, as some courses are not filled and can accept new students mid-week.

Congratulations to Ken Kurtz for winning the primary for the Michigan House - 58th District. He won over Don Shemel by a mere 57 votes, proving once again that every vote counts.
