Concert #1: Jim Stout (July 1st,
7:00-8:30pm)
Jim Stout performed original and
tried and true
blues, folk and country tunes. The concert was sponsored by the Downtown
Business Association as well as many other local businesses.
The weather was excellent and the
turnout large - the northeast corner of the "Four Corners" was packed,
and many people watched from across the street, too.
The high turnout probably had a lot
to do with the free ice cream sundaes also! Sponsored by the Branch County
Association of Realtors, celebrating 50 years.
Jim Stout cracked out the banjo for another great tune. He said that if
we're thinking about learning how to play the banjo, "don't" because
it's a very difficult instrument to keep in tune.
