Here's a little humor to keep you jolly this Christmas. The picture at right shows a "special" at a Coldwater eatery just before Thanksgiving.
Today was a big day for Christmas activities around Coldwater, especially the parade and related activities downtown. Click here to see more photos...
Over the last 3-4 weeks, I've been working on some changes and additions to the Coldwater Virtual Tour. First, I've added a new Burnside region for better coverage of the businesses in northeast Coldwater. The new region doesn't yet appear in the main map on the home page, but I'm working on that and other "loose ends" now. Second, I've expanded the Historical region to include the full Community Health Center campus including the new Community Care and Conference Center. The updated region map now shows all the access roads and parking areas. Finally, a few of the Virtual Tour photos have been updated: D6, D10, D12, D19, D37, D38, D47, D52, E63, and E65.
State St. has been closed east of Marshall St. for reconstruction. Seeley St. will need to be used as a detour; see the construction alert page for details. Two other things in this photo: 1) You can see the new golden paint color on the Taxes Latino building; 2) The leaves in Coldwater are very beautiful right now... after such an unusually cool summer, I didn't expect the leaves to turn this late or for the colors to get so bold. Enjoy the outdoors right now while it lasts!
Attractive stunt kites fly over the field on the north side of Legg Middle School last Friday. The Tri-State Wind Riders Kite Club was invited to fly for the kids on the last day of the Community Kids College, where all week long kids learned skills like cooking, animal care, crafts, guitar, sign language, etc. This year's Kids College was a huge success with easily double the number of kids as last year.
