Students who participate in this project will: identify the best ways to stay safe during emergencies that can occur in their communities. Identify the best ways to prevent and stay safe during a home fire. Gain confidence in their abilities to be prepared for emergencies through hands on activities. Students will take home not only new knowledge but a "My Preparedness Workbook", a Disney-designed pillowcase to personalize and use as a personal preparedness-kit, a Certificate of accomplishment. This program is for students grades 3-5 or ages 8-11 yrs. Don't miss this great opportunity to be prepared!
