Work on the new Subway sandwich shop in Fairfield Plaza has been underway for about two months. After painting the exterior in mid-September, visible progress has been slow until the last week or so, when new awnings went up and there were noticeable changes to the interior. It looks like it will be ready to open soon. This new shop will replace the other Subway just across the parking lot in the same plaza.
