The big news around town this week is the sentencing of James Krause, the owner of Crossroads Alignment. Normally I would try to stay neutral about such things, but since there is a MyColdwater.com sign in the window of Crossroads Alignment, I've found myself right in the middle of it, so I feel I need to make a brief statement. Although I appreciate James' support of MyColdwater.com and his friendship, I in no way support or excuse what he did. I am glad that he has admitted to the crime and apologized to the victim, but that in no way excuses him from the punishment that he now must face. It is a sad day, sad for him, sad for the people he hurt, and sad for Coldwater. We all must pick up the pieces and try to move on.
